I have always had a passion for management, ever since I was in high school. I constantly volunteered to lead our school in events such as community programs and field days, as well as participating in athletics. I played a total nine years of volleyball, including two years of being a student athlete at Northeastern Junior College. However, after tearing my ACL I chose to hang up my jersey and focus my attention towards my academic career. My first step in this shift was transferring to the University of Northern Colorado, which turned out to be the best decision I have made. My experience of customer service careers, including event operations, café supervising, as well as serving for several years, have taught me how to proficiently communicate with customers as well as my colleagues. Juggling a part time job while striving for two degrees has helped me prioritize efficiently and improve my time management skills. Choosing to add a marketing emphasis onto my degree junior year uncovered a passion I have for branding and public relations. I have always enjoyed speaking and interacting with others and am not afraid to be bold, qualities that are important to possess in this field. I always have a positive attitude and a creative spirit, which I believe will set me apart from other candidates. While keeping my head held high, I will always have the company’s best interest in mind.
