As the volunteer engagement manager, I lead a team of 3 to shape the experience of all volunteers at the Central Texas Food Bank! This also included writing communications and stewardship and overseeing volunteer management. - Oversaw the selection and transition to a new donor database and overhaul of the organization website.- Was part of the team that launched the capital campaign and developed the case to secure a second campus. - Assisted in the hiring of the next development director and provided support and training for a 6 month transition.

As the Assistant Director of Development, I was responsible for providing generalist support of the annual development plan, including administration of the donor database and stewardship activities. I wrote our annual appeals and created and executed our Amplify Austin strategy. I also supported our Annual Caregiver Conference with the creation and execution of unique corporate sponsorship opportunities.

In this role I provided support for all fundraising activities. Specifically, I supported the grant process by writing select applications and managing the reporting process to meet individual requirements for local and state grants. Responsible for volunteer oversight, monthly community social events, creation and implementation of daily curriculum and activities, and management of the food program for the site through the North Texas Food Bank.
