I just graduated as a Psychology student with additional science experience that contributes to my current Medical School applications. Because of these differing subjects, I've become fascinated with the interactions between cognition, the brain, and the body, as well as finding psychological intelligence in other life-forms. I view the world in a holistic, integrative, and intersectional approach, as my small forested hometown has helped install in me, and I've taken extensive coursework to build on these traits. I would like to use my representation skills and deep psychological understanding as a surgeon to support my peers and patients through medical injustice and creating space to listen.
