When I was twelve years old I went to sleep away camp for six weeks by myself. At seventeen I participated in a two-month service trip to Costa Rica and stayed with a host family. At 20 I transferred to Rutgers New Brunswick Business school as a 2nd-year finance and marketing major. What do these three experiences have in common? They highlight my fearless determination to challenge myself and show initiative. This is the reason I am interested in pursuing a career in finance and marketing is because it fuels my curiosity, challenges my analytical thinking and provides positions of being a team leader in a dynamic environment.In addition to my ambitious decisions, I have earned a certificate from the CFA Institute, Wall Street Prep and Wharton Prep through Girls Who Invest. I am hardworking, passionate and driven to succeed. I volunteered as a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for four years while working and going to school. I am interested in exploring the fields of risk management, financial planning and brand management.
