Mobile IV hydration nurse where I provide clients with IV fluids, vitamins, electrolytes, and medications to help relieve symptoms of fatigue, dehydration, headaches, nausea, and hangovers in the comfort of their own homes. Assess safety of environment, assess and monitor client's condition, obtain IV access, and administer IV fluids.

Telemetry RN - cared for patients with a variety of illnesses including cardiac, pulmonary, neurologic, hematologic, renal, and endocrine processes. Proficient in the nursing process, assessment, admission process, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, IV access and fluid therapy, PICC line use, blood product administration, diabetes management, wound monitoring, infectious disease screening (i.e. MRSA), consultations (dietary, social services), and discharge process.Worked primarily on a telemetry COVID-19 floor during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020/2021, becoming more familiar with oxygen treatment and use of Remdesivir and convalescent plasma.

In addition to working as a full time Clinical Infomation Manager (CIM®), my duties as Lead CIM include:- Supervise approximately 15 other CIMs working at the emergency department site.- Create the monthly site schedule.- Train, advise, and mentor CIMs.- Complete introductory and yearly CIM evaluations.- Participate in CIM interview process.- Manage conflicts that may arise (scheduling issues, calling out sick, etc.).- Act as a liason between the emergency department and management in the corporate office.- Create monthly site performance report (ED statistics, updates, etc.).- Assist in yearly compliance requirements.- Verify payroll biweekly.- Attend quarterly lead CIM meetings.- Attend monthly physician meetings.

- Work closely with the ED physicians/mid-level providers to document physician notes for each patient in an electronic medical record system. Accompany provider into the patient rooms to take notes and/or receive dictations. - Transcribe the history, physical exam, vital signs, medications, and allergies, as well as patient orders (such as medications, IVs); document procedures performed in the ED, consultations or advice obtained by physicians, and conversations with other physicians or patients' family members; document discharge instructions, prescriptions, and diagnoses in charts. - Keep track of diagnostic tests ordered and inform providers when results are returned to the department. Obtain physicians' interpretation/reading of diagnostic studies (such as EKGs and x-rays) and enter that information into physician notes. - Organization and prioritization are essential skills.

Promote health and wellness on campus through educational materials such as bulletin boards, posters, flyers, and handouts. Topics included nutrition, sexually transmitted diseases, preventing spread of disease through handwashing, and stress reduction.

Work with/instruct introduction biology students during their lab, grade quizzes, and assist with setting up labs.
