I love investing, working with startups, and connecting people, technologies, and companies for good. I am a Co-Founder/General Partner of AIN Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund investing at the intersection of dual-use and deep technology, as well as in military-veteran-led startups. AIN Ventures also hosts the Academy Investor Network, an investment syndicate/platform for graduates of the five U.S. military service academies. The Academy Investor Network invests and supports the next generation of startups, helping our country overcome its toughest challenges. Before becoming an investor, I was a founder/early employee for several organizations. One of my favorites was Capitol Post, a veteran-focused incubator that advised hundreds of startups to leverage the backdrop of Washington, DC's unique business and startup community. Capitol Post drew upon my positive experiences at a successful startup technology firm serving the federal government. I hold an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. After graduating from West Point two months before 9/11, I was commissioned as a U.S. Army military police officer and deployed to support Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Noble Eagle. I am also the proud mom of three kids who are pretty much always one step ahead of me!
