I recently graduated from the Master of Arts in Public History program at American University. During this program, I helped create a digital collection of materials from the 2022 American University Staff Union strike (https://auislandora.wrlc.org/islandora/object/auislandora%3A101175). In the spring of 2022, I graduated from Milligan University with a B.A. in History and Humanities.While obtaining my master's degree, I was the Peace Corps Community Archive fellow at the American University Archives. I processed donations from Peace Corps Volunteers and write about them on the Peace Corps Community Archive blog (https://blogs.library.american.edu/pcca/). I also created the digital exhibit "The Peace Corps Through the Decades" on the blog.As an undergraduate, I worked at the P.H. Welshimer Library, including in the library’s Holloway Archives, where I created a public display and processed the twenty-nine box P.H. Welshimer Collection, including creating a finding aid included in the Milligan Digital Repository. In the summers, I have interned at museums in my home state of Illinois. In the summer of 2020, I interned at the Lincoln Heritage Museum under Director Olivia Partlow, where I processed donations using Argus, in addition to my work planning and creating the museum’s social media posts. In 2021 and 2022, I interned at Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum under Ian Hunt, Chief of Acquisitions. I helped to process and research hundreds of items in multiple collections, in addition to creating original copies of displays on Illinois agriculture and history for the First Lady’s tent at the 2021 Illinois State Fair.My experiences include:• Processing and researching archival donations • Public writing• Creating exhibits for public display• Cataloguing with Argus and Microsoft Excel• Planning and creating social media posts
