Profile bio

About Emily Fine

I am a non-profit leader and strategic thinker with a successful record in fundraising and organizational management. I started my career in the classroom teaching English literature, which honed my skill at translating complex topics to a non-specialist audience – if I can get college students to understand Shakespeare, I can explain just about anything to anyone. In my current role as Senior Manager of Strategic Advancement Communications at the Climate Reality Project, I use the communication skills I developed as a professor to draft fundraising materials about the urgency of taking action to protect our planet. A storyteller at heart, I am passionate about helping organizations articulate their mission and show the urgency and impact of their work.
