As Manager, Career Education I support three teams to provide exceptional career services to U of A students and alumni. This includes the design and development of career education services, managing grant programs, evaluating our programs and services, and communications. Through my work, I strive to help students and alumni explore their career options and develop the skills needed to confidently manage their careers. I recently completed a master's degree in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Alberta. My thesis project explored students perspectives on their employability skill development in higher education. I'm interested in how we can help students increase their awareness about the employability skills they develop in their academic and co-curricular work. This also involves supporting faculty members to incorporate career education into their courses.
