Responsible for steering Netball North Harbour towards a quality and sustainable future, through effective governance, strategic leadership and upholding ethical standards.From concept to realisation, I led the establishment of the Netball North Harbour Youth Board (NNHYB). Nine members, aged from 15 to 24 were recruited to increase diversity at the decision-making level. The group's active engagement in the organisation's strategic plan renewal introduced an intergenerational approach to decision-making, rendering the organisation more relatable and appealing to younger audiences.

During my part-time tenure at Southern Football, my role revolved around the organisation and delivery of community football within the Southland Region. This experience provided me with an in-depth understanding of the fundamental workings underpinning grassroots football.A key aspect of my role was the coordination of various events, which encompassed local competitions, tournaments, youth development programs, and community outreach projects. The successful execution of these events demanded meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adeptly manage multiple tasks, as each event had its own distinctive requirements and challenges.Additionally, I assumed a pivotal role as an intermediary between the organisation and local clubs and teams, ensuring their active participation in regional competitions. This responsibility necessitated the development of relationships with various stakeholders, including coaches, athletes, parents, and dedicated volunteers, coupled with effective communication.My responsibilities also extended to include administrative task, which demanded a high level of organisation and an acute attention to detail.
