I’m a conservation social scientist passionate about driving tangible outcomes through behavioural change research spanning individual, community, and organizational spheres. With backgrounds in psychology, animal behaviour, conservation science, and animal welfare, I approach conservation and research challenges from an interdisciplinary perspective. Presently, I oversee the social research initiatives at Zoos Victoria, collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders from industries, NGOs, government bodies, and academic institutions to enhance our capacity for involving communities in conservation efforts across various sectors. My research interests encompass several key areas, including promoting responsible wildlife tourism practices, conservation spillover behaviours, the role of zoo-based experiences in conservation, and examining ways to encourage pro-biodiversity behaviours such as pet cat containment and sustainable coffee consumption practices.
