When I'm not working, I can be found with snacks, good music, and even better company. Growing up and helping to care for a brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who has high support needs, I have found a passion to find, celebrate, and share the uniqueness of each individual, despite their abilities and preconceived stereotypes. The majority of my experience has involved enthusiastically engaging and managing children through young adults, including an ability to build positive rapport and relationships with coworkers, children and their caregivers. Working in positions from casual part-time employees to Assistant Manager to a Teacher Teaching on Call, I have understood what it is to be both a learner and a leader, and have embraced a viewpoint of combining the attributes of both to any opportunity I face.
