I planned, coordinated, managed, and marketed up to 12 events every year. A majority of my time was dedicated to Reader Rendezvous, which are international/domestic bird watching tours for our readers that usually last 5-16 days and range from 10-50 attendees. We’ve been to the top birding hotspots and ecotourism destinations around the world. Here is what I have worked on during my time with BWD:2021 trips include: Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Australia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Colombia.2020 trips included Costa Rica and Oregon/Northern California.2019 trips included Spain, Ecuador, Texas, North Dakota, Maine, Panama, & South Africa.2018 trips included Florida, Colorado, Honduras, Costa Rica, and New Jersey. 2017 trips included Portugal, Maine, Ohio, and Georgia.I’ve planned/coordinated details for the American Birding Expo for two years (2017 & 2018). The American Birding Expo is an international trade show with over 100 vendors from over 35 different countries, representing all aspects of the birding, ecotourism, and nature enthusiast market. The American Birding Expo is the largest shopping experience for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts in North America.I am also in charge of preparation for numerous bird watching and nature festivals/trade shows around the world.
