Emily Niklaus Davis is a Partner at Ross & Pines, LLC where she practices removal defense and family-based Immigration Law. Emily received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Emory University School of Law. She is on the adjunct faculty at Emory Law and teaches Crimmigration Law. During law school, Emily gained invaluable experience clerking for the Department of Justice, Atlanta Immigration Court. She also served as the president of the Emory Immigration Law Society and as a Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review. Her comment, Cece v. Holder: An Unprecedented Look at the Asylum Claim for Victims of Attempted Sex Trafficking, was selected for publication in 2014. Prior to attending law school, Emily received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA and graduated cum laude in Spanish and Political Science. During her undergraduate studies, Emily worked as a summer intern in Seville, Spain, teaching Spanish and translating for international refugees going through the asylum process. She later attended the University of Buenos Aires and traveled extensively throughout Argentina. Emily is fluent in Spanish. She is a member in good standing of the Georgia State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
