The first was a robotic tilting golf putting platform designed to do research on balance and postural sway. The green was programmed by a microcontroller and then integrated with a motion capture system. Additionally, I continued work on robotic wheelchair as an assessment and rehabilitation tool for people with spinal cord injuries. We mounted sensors to measure trunk strength and range of motion and then analyzed movement data. Ultimately, the device was used for a small clinical trial.
