• Head the Asset Administration department, which includes loan operations; payment and escrow posting and reconciliation; tax, insurance, UCC and financial tracking; custodial oversight; and acquisition servicing onboarding. • Perform closing function regarding asset acquisitions, including tracking the pipeline, coordinating with brokers, sellers, and counsel, reviewing draft assignment documents, reviewing the settlement statement, facilitating the closing, completing secondary review of the loan files, and clearing post-closing exceptions.• Perform closing functions relating to individual REO sales and bulk loan sales. Functions include document review, assignment preparation, finalizing closing package for title, reviewing and/or preparing the settlement statement and coordinating with title and counsel during closing process. • Perform closing functions at a loan level, with respect to renewals, forbearances, modifications, one off loan sales and DPO’s. Functions include preparing applicable documentation, or coordinating with counsel, tracking the status of the closing, verify the accuracy of executed docs, collect and/or verify all monies received and finalize transaction.• Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of internal and external systems and databases.• Recommend and maintain outside vendor relationship, including contract and term negotiation and ongoing relationship maintenance.
