coFLOWco is a Management Consultancy and multidisciplinary Think Tank of business advisors, educators, technologists, creative strategists, and operations experts. What is the FLOWLab?Our mission is to help diverse innovators and neurodivergent creators survive the first 5 years in self-employment, startups, and solopreneurship—for economic justice and new leadership.FL⁵ members are a global network of neurodivergent social entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, independent, content designers, brand creators, creative consultants, researchers and writers who gather for mutual learning and support.Small business leaders do the work of 4.2 humans, and that’s with 2-20 employees (Salesforce, 2019). Our members are doing all of that, plus added responsibilities: parent, house manager, caregiver, classroom volunteer, grad school, and often a FT job.Usually they join with no capital, lack of familial support, and trauma. We help them unpack toxic workplace PTSD, overworking, and burnout. Together we’re co-creating a dynamic, democratized entrepreneurial ecosystem. Managed a multidisciplinary design and project management team (10-20 people-3D, graphic, brand, retail, digital, environmental designers, production, copywriters and freelancers). Focused on improving studio culture, review process and overall operations/processes for client reviews. Led pitches for New Business, increased revenue stream through strong negotiations and close tracking to change orders.Worked with owner on strategic planning for next evolution of studio, processes and hands on project work forecasted studio work, reported weekly on job status and financials, resourcing, hiring. Contract and budget negotiations. Created a review process that was fair, time based and focused on goal setting by strengths of the team and individual.Led production department, partnering with vendors and third party contractors nationally and internationally. Responsible for financials from estimate through final invoice, forecasting overall business revenue and growth. Tracked and forecasted studio revenue with 3 & 6 month outlook. Negotiated significant increases to projects and provided scoping and content for 1 million dollar new biz pitch which led to an 8 month contract and ability to hire more staff. Audited Studio PM software and costs to improve employee time tracking and utilization.
