I joined the IUPUI Athletics Department in November 2021 as Sports Information Director and help oversee the department's media relations and social media efforts for all 18 sports. I serve as the primary contact for the women's basketball, volleyball, softball, swimming and diving and tennis programs. I spent the majority of 2021 as the Baseball Communications Assistant for the Indianapolis Indians, aiding in both the home and road coverage of the team. I was responsible for statistics and game notes and also produced feature stories and recaps for IndyIndians.com, the Indians' social media channels and game day programs.I am a Ball State graduate and worked in BSU's Athletics Communications office while completing my undergraduate work. I helped produced content for BallStateSports.com and worked in large part with the Cardinals baseball program. My work contributed to a 34 percent increase in engagement for the baseball program's social platforms, while impressions increased by more than 120 percent. I also assisted in the coverage of many Ball State sports, including football, basketball and volleyball. When I'm not working at sporting events, I am usually spending time with my family, friends and dog, Zoey. I enjoy watching baseball, basketball, and pretty much any sporting event.
