I am a second-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in management. I have a passion for leadership, managing teams effectively, and staying organized. Over the years I've held numerous roles as lead swim instructor, swim coach, and a lifeguard. As lead swim instructor I was responsible for communicating with a variety of different people of all ages and backgrounds. I worked with each of my employee’s individually to make sure that everyone knew what they were doing and felt comfortable, and this taught me valuable leadership skills. Through my experience of leading a team I learned how to manage projects effectively as I held everyone accountable and made sure that all resources were delegated appropriately to get work done.Now, as a student at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities and further expand my professional and personal leadership. I am broadening my knowledge by taking a variety of classes for my management major and getting involved in on-campus student organizations. I am currently the Vice President of Chapter Wellness for the Beta Delta chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. Through this leadership role, I work closely with my sisters and Executive Counsel to foster a safe and supportive environment for my sisters. I am heavily involved in philanthropic and community efforts through my sorority. Asides from this, I am apart of Indiana University's Dance Marathon and I am on the Dancer Relations committee.I hope to grow my involvement by joining more organizations within Kelley and holding leadership positions within the ones I am already apart of. To continue growing my skills of leadership, managing teams effectively, and staying organized, I look forward to hopefully holding a consulting internship in the future. Ultimately, I see myself pursuing consulting out of college and then pursuing a management career where I can maximize growth and help improve business performances.
