Assess the 3D chromatin looping structure at the Il17a/f gene locus in various helper T lymphocytes lineages.Determine which cis-regulatory elements are brought in proximity with Th17 gene promoters when the locus is being expressed. -

Studied alleviation of specific cell-cycle constraints involved in negative regulation of cell cycle, namely, the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors p27kip1 and p18ink4c. Assessed the effects of p27kip1 and p18ink4c loss on in vitro anergy induction, proliferation and cytokine production by CD4 T cells. Examined effector function of T cells deficient in p27kip1 and p18ink4c in vivo, using a murine model of cardiac allograft rejection.Evaluated time to graft rejection in wild-type mice or p27kip1 and p18ink4c knockout mice receiving anti-rejection therapies that are known to slow or halt T cell responses. -
