Unruly Studios is an EdTech company that creates innovative STEM learning tools focused on group-based, active play experiences. Their flagship products, Unruly Code and Unruly Math, blend physical and digital play to make coding and mathematics accessible, engaging, and collaborative for students. Both products incorporate the Splat, an interactive, stompable button that is an integral part of activities—and a ton of fun.As COO, I led strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and drive product innovation. I managed cross-functional teams and oversaw the development of new products that enhanced our educational offerings.

In this role, I spearheaded product strategy and go-to-market initiatives as we expanded our reach in the educational technology space. I led efforts to introduce our interactive coding tools to new school districts while ensuring our products remained aligned with educator needs.

I joined Unruly Studios in its early stages and led the transition from a consumer-focused to a B2B model in the education sector. I established and grew the customer success team, implementing programs that improved client satisfaction and retention while informing product development and making classroom materials.

Root Robotics, later acquired by iRobot, developed an innovative coding robot that focused on interactive, creative, and arts-based coding activities. The company aimed to make coding accessible and engaging through visual programming experiences.I developed educational curricula that integrated complex technology concepts into engaging classroom experiences. I focused on creating materials that made coding approachable for learners of all ages, emphasizing interactive and creative arts-based activities using the Root coding robot.

As a Policy Fellow, I co-authored a comprehensive report titled "Rethinking School Accountability: Opportunities for Massachusetts under the Every Student Succeeds Act," which informed state-level education policy discussions. I conducted extensive research on the impact of education reform efforts, providing recommendations for improving school accountability and promoting educational equity.

The AmeriCorps National Teaching Fellowship is a program that places recent graduates and career changers in high-need schools across the U.S. Fellows serve as full-time educators and mentors, supporting students during and after school hours while gaining intensive training and teaching experience.I designed and implemented educational for fifth graders, acting both as a traditional classroom teacher and nonprofit leader. I organized volunteer-led apprenticeships for hundreds of students and held large community events for parents and corporate sponsors.
