About Emily Schell

I am starting a faculty position at the University of Colorado Boulder in their Psychology and Neuroscience department in Fall 2024. My research helps higher education institutions improve their student affairs services and pedagogy to support their increasingly diverse student bodies. Prior to my role at CU, I have taught 11 courses as an instructor and adjunct Psychology professor at Stanford University and the University of San Francisco, with teaching expertise in community engaged learning, research methods, and social psychology. I received a PhD in Developmental and Psychological Sciences ('24) and MA in International Comparative Education ('18) from Stanford University's Graduate School of Education as well as a BA in International Relations and East Asian Studies ('16) from Brown University.
