Em is the inaugural CEO of Rainbow Giving Australia, an ambitious new LGBTQIA+ community foundation formed from the merger of GiveOUT and Aurora Group in November 2024. Rainbow Giving Australia is driving change by funding community-led solutions, growing skills, and expanding the knowledge base about the funding needs across the LGBTQIA+ sector. Em is the former CEO of GiveOUT and former CEO and Board Director of Out for Australia, two national LGBTQIA+ non-profits. She previously worked as a health and human services management consultant at Nous Group, and continues to offer freelance consutling for non-profit clients in strategy and governance. She is an admitted lawyer and MBA graduate from AGSM, with 10 years project management and leadership experience in the for-purpose sector. Em was awarded a 2019 AFR 100 Women of Influence for LGBTIQ+ inclusion, mental health awareness and sport participation.Em was awarded a 2024 Churchill Fellowship to investigate innovative global philanthropy strategies to improve outcomes for LGBTQIA+ Australians. As part of her fellowship, she will travel to the USA and UK in October-December 2025.
