In 2022, through the Community Internship course at Griffith University, I had the opportunity to undertake an internship with the Ngarang-Wal Gold Coast Aboriginal Association Incorporated. Since completing my internship, I have continued to work on a casual basis with the organisation. Working with the organisation has allowed me to connect to my cultural heritage away from home, giving me a sense of place here on Kombumerri Country.

whilst living in Darwin In my spare time i would volunteer at Paws Darwin, a non for profit animal welfare and rehoming group. In this volunteer role i would walk and spend time with the dogs that were awaiting their new homes. this was a very enjoyable position for me.
