In her former role as a Learning Consultant, Emily enjoys the daily challenges of meeting the training needs for the entire Operations Department at Independence Blue Cross. On a typical day, she triages the training needs for cross-functional teams, partners with data teams to make recommendations on how to meet targets, develops relationships with business partners, project manages, creates and presents training strategies to Executives, and guides the Learning Designers on best practices and innovation. As a Learning Architect, Emily was able to touch every part of a digital learning project from pre-planning to post-launch. Assisting clients with the ideation process, visualizing and presenting those ideas to Senior Management and Executives, communicating requirements to the technical team, testing the software, user testing facilitation and research, and product development, management, and validation, are just a few examples of her day-to-day activities in that role. She loves sharing her experience with learning technology at conferences and events. At the end of the day, Emily is passionate about creating, driving, and executing innovative solutions to tough challenges.
