I am an interdisciplinary artist with a current focus in ceramics (both functional and sculptural) as well as painting. I also work with found materials and re purposed images to create large scale analogue assemblages. I am an instructor and technician in ceramics at several organizations across the lower mainland and have worked directly with great clay related mentors such as Alan Burgess, Gordon Hutchens, Glenn Lewis and Linda Doherty. Determination has played a large role in my continued success in the arts, this alongside of course, my sincere love of art which some say; is contagious. My goal is to work in creative ventures that further my exploration of objects / concepts, independently & in collaboration with other creative folks. My current end game, is to continue collecting experiences and technical sensibilities that will serve my life, my work and my formal contributions in the arts. I have additional passions which include animals, the environment and awareness of the problems related to animal agriculture.
