My areas of expertise include the following: trauma and abuse, head trauma (including concussions and whiplash), shame, chronic pain, digestion, mood (anxiety and depression), reproductive health (fertility), sensory integration, birth and prenatal trauma, newborn issues, and end of life.I specialize in helping individuals release stress and trauma from both body and mind. My best work is with clients who are ready to engage on a foundational level to grow and enhance their relationship with both their mind and body. I support my clients of all ages, from newborn to adult, with facilitating communication to reveal their strength, capacity, and possibility. My primary focus is the nervous system. People often seek my services when they are not finding answers elsewhere or would like to complement the work they are doing with other practitioners. In March 2011, I founded the nonprofit Shine Alliance International, Inc. to expand the breadth of the volunteer work I was doing with homeless women and torture survivors by serving individuals who have been displaced due to abuse, intolerance, political conflict, or natural disaster. The organization aims to support displaced individuals with reviving their spirit, health, and human rights in the wake of trauma.
