After earning a degree from Texas A&M University in 2005, I went on to serve with Heartlight Ministries in East Texas and worked with struggling teenagers and their families. I met my husband, Jeff, while serving here and got married in 2009 then moved to Van, TX and worked for a wonderful ministry called Mercy Ships from 2009 - 2013 and served as the General Staffing and Recruitment Manager. In 2013, I moved into the field of education. I taught high school for 9 years and served as the district’s Social Media Coordinator for Brownsboro ISD in Brownsboro, TX. In 2022, I moved into administration to serve as an assistant principal and now I’m in a new district working at the high school level again.
