Worked directly with CEO and head of accounting to understand fund accounting, real estate, finance, and general accounting from executive perspective as well as hands-on work with accounting tasks such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, property management fee invoices, monthly cash receipts, rent roll, outstanding checks, rent statements, balance sheet, general ledger, and income statements. Worked with MRI (real estate and investment management software) for general ledger, bank statements, and other real estate management tasks. Worked with cash basis and accrual basis properties.Analyzed and researched 7 sub-asset classes in 10+ different markets/cities around the US, and prepared findings to present to the CEO and Head of Finance for the best market to invest in for industrial real estate.
