Signed on as a SAP Project Administrator to coordinate the latter stages of the initial deployment of the Raymond SAP Application Management Services (AMS) - In concert with Raymond Management, parent company Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) and our contracted consulting firm, Deloitte, I scheduled and monitored the final development, testing, review, and coordinated launch of SAP - As part of the Change Management team collaborated with SAP subject matter experts to deliver education and support to new end users, including internal Raymond personnel and external customers- Worked closely with corporate facilities and security area to design, schedule and implement infrastructure changes needed accommodate the extensive launch activities within the site- Collected and verified financial data, analyzed and prepared weekly reports to Raymond and TMHNA management and executive teams ---tracking projected costs to actuals---adjusting forecasts ---monitoring resource utilization and variances.- Oversaw the intake and monitoring of field problems and requests for changes/enhancements to the implementation. As a Software Engineer I designed, developed, tested and maintained firmware for IBM System z and System x offerings. Most recently I was charged with the development of firmware for the Chassis Management Module (CMM) component of IBM System x's Flex System™. Using primarily C and XML, I enhanced event handling and reporting facilities, implementing Common Information Modeling (CIM) standards. Contributing to the IBM zEnterprise® Systems and predecessors I owned Configuration Management firmware applications and user interfaces including system information, system topology, cryptographic hardware control, dynamic hardware change and save/restore. These were implemented using C, C++, java and various UI technologies. I also led a team to develop an integrated diagnostic test program for the ever evolving mainframes of IBM's System and Technology Group (STG). I designed/developed a multi-processor operating system and created technology specific programs to maximize testing of memory and processor hardware while utilizing parallelism, partitioning and Sysplex features. In Project Management for the IBM zEnterprise® Systems, I acted as a technical liaison for Endicott project teams and world-wide development, test and customer service teams. I facilitated analysis, management and resolution of escapes found post delivery, including root cause/trend analysis, cost / benefit and risk evaluation of resolution options.I also served as a PM for a joint project with IBM Systems z, i and p (eCLipz) for the development of a common Hardware Management Console. Working with cross-functional teams around the US, I handled scheduling, tracking, management and prioritization of product changes.Rounding out my development expertise, I joined the System z Support Element/ Hardware Management Console test team. Using Software Engineering testing concepts, I designed and implemented strategies to assure the quality, accuracy and robustness of our firmware offerings.
