When I was young, I was known to my family as the “Football Encyclopedia." I always knew random statistics about players and teams, and not only did I know the information...I loved the information. There was something about the world of sports—its unity, electricity, and competitiveness—that always reeled me in and left me wanting more. Experiencing that as a child, I knew I wanted to work in sports when I grew up.As a college student, I've taken courses in both marketing and communications, giving me a well-rounded education that is essential to working in sports. Out of class, I've interned in UAB Athletics’ Marketing & Fan Engagement department, and I’m currently interning in the Sports Information office. I'm excited for my experience to culminate into the perfect blend for working in sports, and I'm overjoyed that I have the opportunity to work.
