I have worked in marketing ever since graduating from University in 2001, where I obtained a 2:1 Honours degree in Business Administration and Marketing. My work experience has been varied across the retail, publishing and professional services industries and I enjoy the variety that a marketing role offers. I have particular interest in digital marketing, as well as the ability to be creative using programs such as Photoshop. Throughout my career I have been in charge of organising many successful events, including being responsible for fundraising well over £600k for various charities.I have vast experience of working within a convenience store environment and I keep up-to-date with industry research and knowledge in terms of buyer behaviour, trends and developments. Outside of work I am a very keen runner and cyclist, and I have been attending Spinning and Body Pump classes for many years. I also have a very keen interest in nutrition (particularly sports) and I am a keen Arsenal fan. I used to play football for Chelmsford City Ladies FC, however now I prefer to participate in competitive running events and run for Springfield Striders RC, where I am the ladies team captain. I have completed an ultra-marathon, four marathons (inc. two London 2021 + 2022 and Amsterdam in 2024), one standard distance triathlon and two sprint distance triathlons, plus well over 130 local races from 5k up to 20 miles. I have also completed 420 parkruns.
