I support students with disabilities to find technologies that support and enhance their engagement in higher education both in the classroom and beyond. I am committed to ensuring equity of access and participation for all our learners and place significant emphasis on student-centred models of support. Beyond my one-to-one work with learners I create and deliver academic skills workshops informed by principles of UDL with the aim of empowering learners to employ technology to take ownership of their learning.I believe that our digital campus should be as inclusive as our physical environment and do significant work consulting with other teams in the University and beyond to ensure that our teaching resources, administrative systems, and online presence not only achieve WCAG compliance, but offers all users an inclusive experience. I regularly do workshops throughout the University promoting access and inclusion and believe that we can all play a part in creating an inclusive educational environment where everyone can thrive.

I oversaw the expansion and development of our Open Learning Pathway. This is a part-time programme that allows learners to participate in university modules for either audit or credit, and to obtain a Level 7 QQI accredited Certificates that can ultimately be used to progress into full-time study. During my time in this role key achievements included:- The development of Progression Pathways meetings that facilitated early identification of learner goals, potential barriers, and consequently support strategies to enable students to meet the criteria to progress to full-time study. This resulted in higher student progression rates than previous years.- Community building - Through the development of a communications strategy for Pathways students, as well as a schedule of relevant events including study skills workshops and peer meet-ups, student retention increased.- Stakeholder management and community outreach - Increased application numbers and broader awareness of the programme through a new social media strategy, dedicated Pathways brochure, and community talks.

Working as part of a busy and diverse team to support students from socially under-represented backgrounds on their journey into and through higher education. Promoting pathways into higher education including the UCD Access Programme, Open Learning, HEAR, DARE, Mature and QQI-FET routes. Assisting future students, parents, and community links in the application process.Sharing the University for ALL message throughout the college and advising staff and faculty on the best ways to ensure inclusivity in the classroom and beyond. Offering guidance on: Assistive Technology, Reasonable Accommodations, Financial Supports, and Universal Design in Learning.Data management and privacy - reporting for HEA Fund for Students with Disabilities.

• Recipient of President's Award to fund studies.• Teaching, research, and lesson planning - Tutor on European Studies programme.• Event Management and Community Education - Planned and delivered 2 Day Celebration of John McGahern in Leitrim.• Grant writing - Achieved arts council funding to host literature celebration.• Presentation and Editorial skills – Gave papers in Ireland and abroad. Produced Early Careers edition of the Journal of Franco-Irish Studies. Training: Teaching in Higher Education, Research Ethics and Practices, Niteline Volunteer / Trainer (2018-2020) Thesis: A comparative analysis of representations of gender in 20th C Irish Literature.

• Collaborative / interdisciplinary teaching - Planning and delivering English lessons to students aged 11- 17 from a diverse range of social backgrounds. Part of International Baccalaureate team designing interdepartmental projects for students.• Culturally-informed education – Designing curricula to encourage cultural exchange and celebrate diversity.- Supervised students undertaking IB projects looking at the experiences of refugees in Quebec.- Planned and supported exchange programme to Vancouver.• Learning support – Delivering individual tutoring for students with disabilities and those in foster care.

- Completed a Summer placement in Accessions developing a new, more efficient method of processing the large number of texts delivered to Trinity's copyright library every week.- Working as part of a team across three libraries sorting and shelving texts.- Offering students assistance using College databases and the library search system.

Brand ambassador reaching out to alumni in order to:- Update contact information on Foundation databases.- Offer details of College and specific departmental events and developments.- Give information on Foundation causes.- Work towards meeting and processing donation targets.
