Hi! My name is Emily and I have turned my passion for keeping my teeth clean and sparkly into a full time career! I have worked in the dental industry since the beginning of 2018 and hold a certificate III and certificate IV (radiography) in dental assisting. I've recently completed a diploma of applied health sciences and am currently studying my Bachelors of Oral Health Therapy at Latrobe university Bendigo and am enjoying every moment of it. I am a local of Bendigo and love living rural! My goal is to work in a rural destination to help provide education and transformations of the oral health of individuals from rural settings! And to bridge that gap of access to excellent dental care. I hold a strong emphasis on periodontal health and educating patients about good oral hygiene practices. Prevention is key! My goal is to make the dental experience comfortable, fun and stress free! I want to change the future of Australia's dental health by focusing right at the start of the dental journey! A child's very first visit to the dentist. When I graduate in 2024 I will also have my adult scope, enabling me to care for and transform the smiles of all ages. I have previous experience working in childcare so I have truly found my dream career of being able to combine dentistry and education, educating and changing the lives of the future generation of Australians!
