I see myself as a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring person, committed to the nurturing and education of all students. Not only am I qualified, but I also have a great deal to offer children and the school community. My referees will attest to my competence and personal qualities. I look forward to the challenge of contributing to another school environment.Underlying my actions is a strong belief in the principle of contextual teaching from a students first-hand experience and developing inquiries that incorporates material relevant to the students lives. I encourage students to be lateral and critical thinkers in a student-centred classroom. This has been demonstrated throughout my teaching career. I strive to incorporate different methods of teaching and learning. I believe in delivering differentiated lesson, not just to encompass different learning needs, but the different interests of my students.The implementation of technology in my classroom has played a dominant role in the education of my students. It has captured the students’ interest and also opened my classroom to a magnitude of possibilities. I firmly believe that being digitally connected with my students via multiple platforms increases a variety of learning opportunities. As a result, they have gained the ability to see outside of the school environment. Learning, connecting, exploring both locally and globally through a range of professionals.
