I pride myself on my commitment and passion to wildlife and renewable energy. I became truly interested in the health of the environment at the beginning of my freshman year of college when I thought I wanted to study political science. I slowly started to see more news articles related to the environment and disasters that were occurring throughout the world. Then one might say I fell down the rabbit hole and became engrossed in sustainability, conservation, and urban greening. I also fell in love with nature and being outside.I have experience in entrepreneurship and business management as I was apart of the Young Entrepreneurship Academy and built a business from the ground up over the course of a year. I was awarded my funding in the first round and got sent to RIT to compete along side other students in the final round. This also heavily helped with my public speaking skills as I was presenting my business idea in front of thousands of people. I was further involved in DECA in high school and was at the top of my business management class.My longtime goal is to volunteer for organizations throughout the world and eventually build a business around renewable energy and sustainability. I am very intrigued by the science behind how the environment is affected by humans and how this can be prevented or bettered.
