As a commercial real estate underwriter in Boca Raton, FL, I supported the South Florida, Charlotte, and Atlanta offices for PNC Financial Services. I prepared initial sizings, prescreens, and formal credit approvals for various asset classes - multifamily, student housing, build-for-rent, retail, office, industrial, self-storage, medical office, and hotel - with a focus on multifamily construction. As a production underwriter I analyzed developer pro forma models, conducted market research, and researched comparable properties, evaluating both revenues and expenses, to ultimately underwrite a deal. I analyzed over 100 real estate transactions with loan values totaling approximately $3 billion (31 internal reviews as well as several modifications and PPP loans, 26 initial sizings totaling ~$1.3 billion in requested loan proceeds, 14 prescreens totaling ~$775 million in potential new exposure, and 13 approvals totaling ~$500 million in new exposure for the bank).

I completed a formal credit training program as well as rotations in market research, loan syndications, loan administration, and underwriting in the Real Estate Banking Development Program at PNC's Pittsburgh, PA headquarters.

My junior year I managed a floor comprised of both male and female residents ranging from freshman to senior year. My senior year I managed a floor of females, the majority of which were first year students. I coordinated events for a diverse group of people and budgeted accordingly both independently and along with other Resident Assistants. Ultimately in my position I helped advocate for Penn State's values and foster an inclusive and safe environment for residents and staff by enforcing housing and university rules and regulations in the residence hall.

In my internship, I prepared portfolio analyses and lease abstracts, actively listened to Prescreen, became familiar with loan documents, participated in various property visits in the Charlotte area, and conducted research on different markets for the projects in which I was involved. My final project was to underwrite and present a $42.1MM construction loan to PNC's top real estate executives.

I assisted in planning for the Grand Opening of F.N.B.'s first digital branch in downtown State College, PA. The specialized branch for the university market features a new, sleek, modern layout and cutting-edge innovations. A large part of my job responsibility was to integrate F.N.B.'s mobile and online banking features, as well as convenient, extended hours of video teller technology, into the daily lives of the next generation in banking customer. I primarily promoted for the company's demand deposit account designed for the college student market and encouraged participation in the free financial literacy classes designed for students and the surrounding community.

As a teller, I accurately and efficiently processed and recorded routine transactions for First National Bank customers. I verified customer transactions while making deposits and withdrawals from checking, saving, and certificate of deposit accounts. Over the summer I traveled to and worked at nine different branches in Blair County, PA.

For nearly two years I worked at a local dairy near my hometown. My primary responsibility was to serve customers quickly and accurately in the food service industry. Additionally, I was responsible for continually cleaning the storefront and stocking shelves and freezers. In this position I gained experience training new hires in the salesroom.
