As the Founder and Managing Director of We Are Doing Good Ltd, trading as Doing Good Catering Ltd, I am committed to driving positive social and environmental change through sustainable enterprise. Our not-for-profit organisation provides fully sustainable catering services to film and TV productions, using profits to combat food poverty across Wales and the South West.With over 30 years of experience spanning the public, private, and third sectors, I’ve cultivated a diverse skill set that includes operational management, partnership development, creative strategy, sustainable catering development, and circular economy practices.I’m proud to have shared my expertise in sustainable catering through BAFTA’s Shooting Sustainably: Protecting Biodiversity video series, advising on running sustainable catering services for film productions. I was also honoured to be a keynote speaker at BAFTA’s 2023 conference on reducing the film industry’s carbon footprint. Beyond my work in sustainability, I am passionate about promoting healthy, nourishing meals and challenging the dominance of ultra-processed foods in modern diets.In addition to my work in catering and social enterprise, I am also a model and actor, performing under the stage name Not Whoppie. My most recent role features me in a Specsavers advert promoting their winter 2024 glasses collection.I contribute to Glastonbury Festival as a member of the Alcohol Compliance Team, where I help ensure customer safety and safeguard the festival’s entertainment license.As a Trustee and Board Member of BHN, a Bristol-based charity dedicated to supporting asylum seekers, I advise on the organisation’s catering initiatives. My role involves building partnerships with local businesses and the third sector, while empowering asylum seekers with confidence, resilience, and practical skills to improve their lives.I am passionate about sustainability, social enterprise, and empowering communities to thrive.
