In June 2023 I will be graduating from UCLA with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. I am actively looking for a post-grad job as a Special Education Teaching Assistant or Instructional Aide. Through my minor in Applied Developmental Psychology, I completed a year-long internship at the UCLA Early Care and Education Krieger Center. Our classroom provided care to eight children ages 10 to 22 months of age. During this time, I completed a detailed case study on the development of one focal child, and created a constructivist curriculum project based on the developmental needs and interests of each child in our classroom. I'm a non-traditional college student, having retired from a career in ballet in 2018. During my performing career, I also worked in educational outreach programs, bringing dance education to the communities in which I performed. My work with children during this time ignited my passion for them and set me on my current career path.
