Whenever people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was simple. I wanted and still want to be a contributing individual in a successful career to help others. For me, I always knew this meant earning a career as a Pediatrician in order to combine my passions of working with children and helping those around me. In order to achieve this goal, I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Florida. Not only am I occupied by my rigorous classes, but many campus organizations in which I have found leadership positions to mentor those in areas which I am most passionate about. Serving as an executive at Delta Gamma has allowed me to gain vital lessons in leadership and communication while being an officer for Dance Marathon has reaffirmed my passion for helping children who need it most. Although I may be involved in many organizations currently, I know that the future also holds many opportunities for my personal growth as an undergraduate and as an individual. I hope to not only gain vital experience through research, shadowing, and clinical hours, but also to attend medical school in the near future. I am confident that my strong drive and unmatched work ethic will be a perfect fit for the rigorous environment of medical school and I am excited to see what my future holds for my career as a Pediatrician.
