Hello, my name is Emily Workman!I am a Kutztown University of Pennsylvania alum. I earned a double concentration bachelors degree in Environmental Science Biology and Geography with minors in Bioethical Philosophy and Planning Geography. I have also earned a sub-bachelorette certificate in Geospatial Information Technology. In spring 2022, I presented my research at the international American Association of Geographers conference. I created a suitability model of effective land use planning for agricultural spaces in Pennsylvania. Within my certification, I have demonstrated skills in GIS, remote sensing, cartography, and planning geography. I have experience using Esri systems, ERDAS, Trimble hardware and post processing software, and Python coding. These skills work in conjunction with my experience with GIS and accompanying ESRI systems. My current career goal is to work for an environmental organization that works on national/international projects where I can gain experience and utilize my multi-faceted background. I also aspire to further my programming skills in data analysis and management.
