Hey! I am Emily, a student at Columbia University majoring in Computer Science. Although I began with a more humanities-oriented background, I hope to integrate my artistic passions with technical skills through product management and user/website design. After all, programming is not just an exercise of technical or mathematical computation, but also an act of creation!I am interested in pursuing computer science through projects and roles in the software engineering and product management industry. Currently, I am an Associate Software Engineer at the Columbia Daily Spectator, learning to create websites with React, Javascript, and MongoDB. I also hope to pursue a Business Management or Psychology concentration. I look forward to learning more about artificial intelligence and software/business development.
