With a natural flair for the customer care business, and a newfound love for public relations I discovered in college, my B.A. in Hospitality and Communications perfectly blends my two passions. From my experiences working in restaurants and private social clubs, to my internships in PR and social media marketing, I have a well rounded perspective on what people want, and how brands should communicate with their communities. I honed my verbal and written communication skills while interning at 360PR+, where I proved I could effectively write pitches and liaise with journalists' about a client's story. I had the opportunity to work on four accounts at the same time, and became familiar with the details, campaigns, and contacts for each. Along with assembling mailers, I conducted research, expanded media lists, tracked influencer coverage of client's products, and created monthly coverage recaps on PowerPoint. One of greatest accomplishments at BU was the comprehensive marketing plan my team and I created for our Advanced Marketing Strategies class. We worked with our client, Time Out Market Boston, to discuss goals for the market, and through research and specific objectives we successfully provided an achievable plan for Time Out Market Boston to follow. I graduated with my B.S. in Hospitality and Communications at Boston University in May and am currently seeking my next opportunity at a PR agency.
