As a teaching assistant at John Jay College, I support the faculty and students in the forensic psychology department, facilitating learning activities, grading assignments, and providing feedback. I have developed strong communication, group work, and research skills, as well as a passion for forensic mental health counseling.I am currently pursuing my master's degree in forensic mental health counseling at John Jay College, and an advanced certificate in community leadership at CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies. I have completed a certification in psychological first aid, and I have volunteered in various settings, such as shelters, schools and community centers, where I applied my knowledge and skills to help people in crisis. My goal is to become a forensic psychologist and make a positive impact in the justice system and society.
