Leading the communications for the Biorenewables Development Centre (subsidiary of the University of York), an open-access R&D biorefining Centre. I also support BioYorkshire communication activities, a ten-year programme that will accelerate the translation and application of research discoveries in the bioeconomy into full scale biotechnology applications, partners include the University of York, Fera Science and Askham Bryan College. On behalf of the BDC I am the communications and dissemination lead for the international project - AgriLoop. This EU / Chinese project is s developing sustainable processes to convert agri-food residues into high-value, eco-friendly products for use in food, feed and bio-based materials.

Working with 29 partners across 11 European Countries to develop and implement an innovative communications strategy for this exciting food waste project which is funded by Horizon 2020, BIC and the BBI.
