Freelance designer working for several design and marketing agencies within Bristol and the surrounding area. I have over 15 years experience working in the design industry. I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated and friendly individual who can adapt to many different working environments and company work flow practices.

During my time at Wow! I worked on a variety of projects for a diverse client base. Clients ranged from small businesses to large companies, through to Government sector and non-profit organisations. I produced creative work whilst being sensitive to a wide range of requirements. From working to tight deadlines, adhering to strict brand guidelines or working from a blank piece of paper to create a concept or campaign – all within a budget.I have been involved in projects at all stages, from concept, client presentation to final designs and artwork. From generating concepts for marketing campaigns, creating global brands, website designs and site structures to designing newsletters and leaflets.

DC Group is a full service design and marketing agency with a varied client list.As a designer, my projects included advertising campaigns, company literature, direct marketing, exhibitions and corporate brandings. I was involved at all stages from brainstorming and initial concepts through to final artwork. During my time at DC my role developed, with me taking on more responsibilities outside of a general designers role. This allowed me to broaden not only my design ability but also my supervising and coordinating skills. Other duties include organising and briefing freelancers, liaising with suppliers, participating in client meetings and taking and writing briefs. I was also responsible for the general work flow in the studio and delegating work where necessary.

A large proportion of the work I undertook at this agency was for a Blue Chip company in the financial sector. We often worked to tight deadlines where speed and accuracy where equally important. The work was varied including internal and external literature, direct marketing and advertising. I also managed an Intranet Marketing Toolkit project and produced the designs and final site. This included liaising closely with the marketing team and IBM representatives.Within a short time of being with Slap & Tickle I was promoted to the position of Studio Supervisor. My role included liaising directly with clients, taking briefs, presenting visuals and generally coordinating and supervising the work flow within the studio.
