• Provided value engineering and supplier manufacturing engineering support for primary reactor components. Assisted with supplier production/manufacturing management, including process and schedule development activities.• Developed a comprehensive Supplier Evaluation process for new and existing suppliers. Coordinated development and implementation activities for the Westinghouse Supplier Website (http://supply.westinghousenuclear.com) and Approved Suppliers List (ASL), including the evaluation of Westinghouse’s top suppliers. • Completed initial analyses of supplier capacity versus demand for AP1000 components procured by Westinghouse. Developed an MS Excel model, which summarizes supplier capacity verses demand and highlights potential capacity constraints. • Developed AP1000 Job Creation modeling, which was used to lobby congress for nuclear loan guarantees.• Managed the quality assurance Corrective Actions Program (CAPs) for the Westinghouse SCM organization. Developed automated Lotus Notes extracts and reporting for SCM CAPs.
