Working as part of the marketing department in a small in-house design team, to multi task projects and design and create materials for a care home company, to communicate messages to target audiences in an appropriate manner and media.My work duties included:• Answering internal and external telephone calls to deal with queries.• Reading and responding to emails in an appropriate manner.• Following brand guidelines when creating marketing material. • Working on projects for marketing events including Home Refurbishments, Dinner Down Memory Lane events, Summer Fairs and Harvest Festival events etc. This involves designing and creating invitations, banners, booklets, publications, reminder cards and online promotion materials.• Designing and updating ‘Home Inserts,’ ‘Home Manager Profiles’ and ‘Roll Folds’ for care home folder packages as well as ordering and sending these out to the appropriate homes when requested.• Creating and sending out a weekly ‘Homes Bulletin’ to all members of staff and care homes.• Keeping the company website up to date with relevant information. • Updating social media sites such as Twitter, with appropriate and relevant information. • Creating and designing a quarterly publication called, ‘TeamTalk.’• Designing the layout and creating the publication called, ‘One Voice’ which is a magazine published every two months, for residents and staff with news, quizzes, achievements, awards, successes, events, activities, celebrations and much more. • Helping and designing a number of different materials for a variety of departments within the company upon request.• Designing and placing orders for any business cards requested from members of staff and care homes.
