I am honoured to be a Senior Partner within the Davidson Search & Advisory Practice. Founded in Brisbane in 1991, Davidson is a proudly Australian company, headquartered in Brisbane, and with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Adelaide. Our team includes a broad range of specialists in business advisory, search and recruitment and technology and digital consulting.At Davidson, I lead our Queensland Executive Search business, partnering with executives across the private and public sectors to enhance the capability and capacity of their leadership teams. Working closely with our advisory and consulting arms, I leverage my strong industry connections and professional experience to maximise outcomes for Davidson's clients. I joined Davidson from Asialink Business, where I worked with Australia's leading businesses, industry groups and governments across Australia to enhance their knowledge, skills and capabilities to engage effectively with Asia. Prior to that I had over a decade of experience in Local Government, leading an economic development team focused on the attraction of new investment, business growth, export advisory services, as well as the planning and delivery of the Trade and Investment Program of the Commonwealth Games; Trade2018.I am experienced working internationally and with diverse cultures, particularly in Asia. I have led numerous high level business missions to Asian markets and further afield to the UK, Canada and US. I was also the successful recipient of the Chengdu Civil Servant Exchange Scholarship Program and undertook a four-month work placement within the Chengdu Municipal Government in China.I have a lifelong commitment to learning and in addition to a number of short courses, I am currently studying my WSET Level 3 in Wines, having completed WSET Level 2 in Wines in 2023. I hold a Bachelor of Business, Advanced Diploma of International Business Management, Diploma of Local Government (Planning) and have studied Mandarin both in Australia (Griffith University) and in China (Sichuan University and Beijing Mandarin Academy). I am a previous board member of Austcham West China and Young Professionals Gold Coast and a proud alumni of the Asialink Leaders Program.
