Lead on green skills at BITC, responsibilities: * Deliver pilot Green Skills Lab, a programme of five action learning workshops across London, Manchester, and the Midlands - engaging built environment and recycling and waste management companies. * Curate content for the partnership event with OVO, to understand the role of employers, government and educators in advancing green skills and removing barriers to these opportunities. * Scope place-based models with various stakeholders. Other responsibilities:* Design the Nature & Resilience Lab, a programme based on TNFD, to assist businesses in considering their impacts and dependencies on nature and the risks of the changing climate across value chains. * Advise the Community Climate Fund through feasibility analysis of community-led climate action projects, creating overarching methodology and socio-economic and environmental data mapping in places to determine the greatest need for intervention.

The programme develops a process to explore how the future workforce will differ from the current in achieving net zero, creating bespoke organisational design and workforce action plans for businesses. Main responsibilities/ projects in 22/23: * Multi-sector stakeholder management to produce and facilitate collaborative value chain workshops that explore holistic intervention to microparticle pollution. * Represent BITC in the Race to Zero Accelerator group.* Monitoring, data & analysis - tracking BITC memberships climate action commitment, including Race to Zero, SBTi, TCFD, and businesses' own commitments in line with robust criteria.* Bi-annually Responsible Business Tracker Validator on net zero strategy.
